1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of stellerssystems.com and to services provided by Steller's Systems Inc., 2-28A Hamilton St E, Goderich, ON. Signed quotes or service agreements take priority over these terms where they differ.
2. Quotes and approval
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. We begin work only after you approve a quote or request work in writing (including by email). If the scope changes, we'll ask before going ahead.
3. Payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST. Repairs are payable on pickup; business invoices are due within 15 days unless otherwise agreed. Prepaid support blocks are non-refundable and expire 12 months after purchase.
4. Your data and backups
You are responsible for keeping backups of your data. We take care to protect data on every job, and we'll back it up for you on request, but some repairs and failures carry a risk of data loss that we can't fully eliminate.
5. Parts, hardware and warranty
New hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty. Our repair workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days. Warranty doesn't cover physical or liquid damage, misuse, or problems caused by software installed after the repair.
6. Unclaimed devices
Devices not collected within 60 days of notice that they are ready may be recycled or disposed of to recover costs, after reasonable attempts to contact you.
7. Remote access
Remote sessions only happen with your permission. You can end a session at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
